We give so others can speed the light of the gospel to a world in darkness. Speed the Light (STL) engages, teaches, and disciples our youth in God’s mission to reach the lost! This is accomplished by creating a heart of missional generosity in students for the world's needs and our missionaries' needs. Students are challenged to sacrificially give to missions, reach the lost in their own area, and pray for missionaries around the globe. Funds raised through STL go to help missionaries travel faster, preach clearer, and be heard louder in order for all to know Jesus.
global university
Global University provides courses in multiple languages and delivers them in print, on the Internet and via mobile devices to students through the university’s four distinct schools: School of Evangelism and Discipleship, Berean School of the Bible, Undergraduate School of Bible and Theology, and Graduate School of Theology. We are developing strategic international partnerships to plant new Bible schools in order to train pastors and leaders for the Lord’s redemptive work.
Nicaragua medical clinic
MISSION
The Nicaragua Medical Clinic was established in 2016, with help from Owasso First Assembly. This Clinic in a Can is a ministry which provides low cost medical care to an unserved community in rural Nicaragua, La Ceiba Dudu. Our Christian physician and nurse treat acute and chronic illnesses/diseases and traumatic injuries, prescribe and dispense medications, and provide prenatal care.
SAVING LIVES
Our goal is to honor God by providing access to medical care for the citizens of La Ceiba Dudu and its surrounding towns. This is a rural, poverty-stricken community in Nicaragua, two hours away from any other healthcare provider. The clinic serves about 2,000 patients every year.
EDUCATION
Our physician periodically speaks in the local elementary school to teach children the value of washing hands, brushing teeth, and other aspects of general hygiene.
EVANGELIZATION
This medical ministry is provided in conjunction with the local Assemblies of God church, “Casa de Dios, Iglesia el Paraíso”. We encourage our healthcare providers to pray with patients and share the Gospel.
