NOW WHAT?
The decision to accept Jesus Christ as the leader of your life is the most important decision you will ever make. You’re at the beginning of a spiritual journey, and we want to help you along the way. Here you will find resources to help you grow in your relationship with Jesus.
It’s important to remember that the recommendations listed below are not things that you have to do to earn or maintain your salvation. You’ve already received the gift of salvation by repenting of your sin (Mark 1:15) and confessing Jesus as Lord of your life (Romans 10:9). Now that you have new life in Jesus, it is producing in you a desire to walk in obedience and grow in your relationship with God. These resources are provided to help you pursue Jesus daily, knowing that your salvation is already paid for by His shed blood on the cross. Praise God!

If you’d rather not use a plan right away, we would encourage you to start with one of the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John) and then read Romans. If you need further guidance, talk to your group leader or one of our pastoral staff.

Be baptized in water
Baptism is the first biblical step after Salvation. If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, we encourage you to sign up to be water baptized and to invite your friends and family to celebrate with us.

At Owasso First, we are passionate about helping people find authentic biblical community. One of the ways we do this is through Groups where people connect with God and each other, grow in their faith, and live on mission to fulfill God's plan and purpose for our life.

Watch “Discipleship 101” and other on-demand classes
We encourage you to go through our on-demand classes, and we recommend you start with the class entitled “Discipleship 101.” This class is designed for new believers, those who are re-committing their life to Jesus, or those who are actively making disciples themselves. These foundational principles will give you the assurance of knowing you are a true follower of Jesus and equip you to lead others in their walk with God.
